Feet on the
Streets of Paris

We arrived mid-morning, too early to check into our hotel. My daughter and I filled time with a walk down the Avenue des Champs-Elysees and window shopped the iconic luxury stores. Once we reached the Arc de Triomphe, we found a brasserie, and settled in at an outdoor table for a relaxing lunch and took some time to soak in our surroundings.

The Lows and Highs of Paris

After checking into our room at the hotel, we took a trip under the city through the Catacombs of Paris. Then we made our way to the top of Montparnasse Tower to experience Paris from above.

We were exhausted, but had managed to stay on our feet most of the day. After having dinner just a block from the hotel - we happily retired to our room.

Hotel de Londres Eiffel was THE BEST hotel. It’s located close to the Metro, the Eiffel Tower and much more. The hotel staff were helpful and kind. It was near 100 degrees while we were there and the staff worked diligently to keep us all comfortable.

Catacombes de Paris

Over 100 steps underground the Catacombs of Paris houses the remains of several million Parisians.
